Don’t Give Up On Your Vision
Sometimes, life doesn’t go the way we want it to, because of one simple reason. It’s not supposed to. Although we have control over the majority of things in our lives, we don’t control everything that happens. We can be open to the things we want and work toward them, but when life takes a turn that we weren’t expecting, we must be prepared to handle those things in a positive manner.
When we fold, crumble, and quit after life takes an unexpected left turn, we are only giving up on ourselves. Believe it or not, but some people around you could care less if you reach your goals. Some would even prefer that you quit and join them in doing nothing. How about you disappoint those people and continue to be the amazing person you are?
A vision is something that YOU have; no matter how big or small it may seem. The only person who can bring your vision to life is you. Of course, it may take a team of people to execute, but nonetheless, it will require y-o-u. Understand that circumstances may change your course temporarily, but you know what the outcome is supposed to be and you can continue to move in that direction.
Think of your circumstances as a navigation device that is telling you to turn right at a street that is closed off. When this happens, your instincts immediately kick in and you start to get creative. You know the direction in which you should be heading, but you don’t know exactly how you’ll get to your destination. You don’t panic about not knowing. You don’t give up and head back home. You figure out a way to get back on track and arrive at the desired stop.
A lot of us get wrapped up in the way that everything is supposed to happen rather than things actually happening. Get creative and enjoy the journey to the manifestation of your vision. Don’t just give up on yourself and watch others live out their dreams. That’s no way to live. Let go of the reins a little bit and start having fun in the unknown.
